Durga Puja Kids Wear 2021

Durga Puja kids wear 2021

It’s almost here! The biggest and by far the most fun festival in the eastern part of our country. Durga Puja 2021! Celebrated in the honor of Goddess Durga, it give all of us a chance to reflect and understand the values transcended on to us by our forefathers.

Scheduled to be celebrated around 11-15th October, searches like Durga Puja kids Wear 2021, Durga Puja Festive Wear 2021 are already topping the charts over the internet. While it’s a good day to shop and forget your worries, it is also a very good day to wear new shiny clothes, eat yummy food, be a part of beautiful poojas and of course, be merry.

As a designer, and more importantly a loving mother, I’m always onn the lookout for inspirations to create beautiful dresses for my children. We usually get new clothes made every Durga Puja as we believe that this a time when our kids should get excited for their new presents and celebrate this festival with as much joy as we did when we were younger and still continue to do so.

I’ve shortlisted some of my favourites for you to choose, it may just help you plan better and of course, understand the latest trends.

Firstly, ditch the black! and go on to choose some cooler colorrs. The most favorable for this Navratri and Durga Puja are the following:

Yellow
Royal Blue
Red
Green
Orange
Purple
Sky Blue
White
Pink

With the pandemic trying to destroy almost everything last year, it is upon us to re-ignit ethe spirit of festivity and encourage our children to feel the joy. Involve them, and let them choose their own colors. They will feel like a part of the decision and happy.

Secondly, choose your outfit!

I’m a traditional junkie and prefer almost everything that is old. For me, traditions and cultures are very important and I always pick the perettiest traditional outfits for my kids. Many stores offer ready-made clothes and now deliver directly to your home too. So you don’t need to step out to purchase personally. Sizes are pretty standard and you won’t need to worry about the fit so much. Descriptions are pretty detailed now.
If not, you could go for some western wear as well, blazers, dresses and shirts. All do well with kids and are almost acceptable on every occasion. Don’t forget to choose colors that are bright and happy.

Thirdly, and finally. Do NOT, and I simply mean it. Do NOT copy your neigbors. Just because someone bought from an XYZ brand does not mean that you have to buy it from there too. Just because someone is making their kids wear fancy clothes or even imported clothes, you don’t need to do it too. Just be realistic, classy and chic. We all know when someone’s faking it and when. Someone’s genuinely fashion conscious.

Happy Durga Puja to You!
