Green People is a UK-based organic skincare brand that has been around for decades and was one of the first companies to take certified organic beauty seriously. The brand was founded out of necessity rather than marketing, when the founder struggled to find products that didn’t irritate their child’s skin. Their focus has always been on genuinely organic ingredients, transparency and avoiding unnecessary synthetic chemicals, rather than chasing trends.

What we like
Green People uses a high percentage of certified organic ingredients and clearly states certifications on many of their products. They avoid common irritants such as synthetic fragrances, SLS and harsh preservatives. Their formulations tend to be simple, functional and designed for sensitive skin. I also like that they have stayed consistent over the years rather than constantly reformulating for trends.
What we don’t like
Some products are expensive compared to high street brands, which can make them less accessible. As with most brands at this scale, not every single product is 100% organic, so it’s still important to read labels carefully rather than assume everything is the same across the range.

Overall verdict
A solid and trustworthy organic skincare brand that I feel comfortable using and recommending, especially for sensitive skin, provided you still check individual product ingredients. Hand on heart, this is a brand I used on both of my babies since they were born, especially one of whom has eczema.
